Suite* is a collaboration between La Caja and LEA, two spaces committed to contemporary creation that come together to promote groundbreaking site-specific projects. These projects are carried out by selected LEA artists and exhibited in a very unique space within La Caja, located on Fernando VI Street.

Javier Marte is a LEA artist who explores the limits of perception through sensations and elements of everyday life, achieving glimpses of something mysterious that may evolve into an imperceptible dimension connecting the tangible with the intangible, the physical with the digital. Thus, labyrinths and the idea of the hidden play an essential role in his work. In this installation, created specifically for *Suite*, the two doors that give access to the space form a new corridor generated through the construction of a double of a different nature. This new passage materializes the inaccessibility of a space that is entirely transit, transmuting the invisible into a substance that cancels out its own concept. Its organic form and the displacement of the doors from their original location evoke an activity subordinated to what appears inanimate. Consequently, this piece is also a means to reflect on the corridor as a threshold, as an intermediate space where possibility reigns.
