The Forest is a symbol of the unknown, associated with magic, fantasy, adventure, and danger—a place where one can get lost and also rediscover oneself. Artistic experimentation carries the same symbolic character, exploring the individual's relationship with the unknown. In this way, we take the concept of The Forest to present the research and creative processes of various artists selected from the LEA artist roster, through this collaboration between Arniches 26, LEA (Lab of Experimental Art), and curator Sara Coriat, who lends her knowledge and experience in this edition to define a set of works that bring us closer to the transitional space of the artists (a term used in psychology to denote a space between the familiar and the unknown). These works are based on the decomposition of the image, exploration, and the search for a lost self.
