Summer Processes is one of the two annual events we hold at LEA to showcase to the general public the inquiries and explorations of the artists who are, at that moment, in a LEA stay or residency. The activity turns the entirety of LEA into an exhibition space to display both finished works and intermediate phases of abandoned or unfinished projects. At this event, attendees can learn about the artists' creative processes as told by the artists themselves, and understand how the daily routine of artistic practice works. We believe that by bringing the public closer to the artists' own ways of working, the gap between art and society is narrowed, generating a bond of closeness and mutual understanding that is essential for culture—and especially contemporary disciplines—to be better understood and embraced.
