Suite* is a collaboration between La Caja and LEA, two spaces committed to contemporary creation that come together to promote groundbreaking site-specific projects. These projects are carried out by selected LEA artists and exhibited in a very unique space within La Caja, located on Fernando VI Street.

In the installation Autoestima Bodywash, artist Shinji Nagabe proposes a sensory and symbolic experience, where the viewer not only moves physically through the space but also takes part in an affective "washing" process — almost like a self-esteem car wash. Throughout the journey, multiple hands touch the body, and bells ring with each person's passage — sounds that interrupt the desire to disappear, to avoid discomfort. The sound of presence becomes impossible to ignore: here, to exist is to make noise. The body is noticed, celebrated, transformed. The work arises from personal experiences, memories of a childhood marked by bullying, migrant life, and the constant attempt to adapt. The installation thus becomes a space for pause, care, and recognition, where the act of passing through is political, and being touched is a gesture of welcome.
